The short version
- DA Enterprises, doing business as DA Streaming, collects account, subscription, technical, support, and marketing information to provide and manage the service.
- Square processes card payments. We receive transaction confirmations, not full card numbers.
- Google Analytics uses cookies on our main website. Those cookies are currently set automatically; we do not yet ask for consent before setting them. We are adding a consent banner and will update this policy when it goes live.
- We do not sell or rent personal information, share it with advertising networks, or use advertising pixels.
- You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in each email or by contacting us.
- You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information, subject to legal and business recordkeeping requirements.
What we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use our website and service.
- Account information: Your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, username, and password.
- Subscription information: Your plan, payment dates, renewal and expiry dates, subscription status, and amount paid. Our plans include a 3 Day Membership for $9.99 for 3 days (“Try Us Out”); a 30 Day Membership for $29.99 billed every 29 days; a 30 Day Promo for $14.99 for the first 29 days, then $29.99 every 29 days; a 90 Day Membership for $79.99 billed every 89 days; a 6 Month Membership for $150 for 180 days; and a 12 Month Membership for $269.99 for 365 days. Some plans renew automatically.
- Payment information: Square processes card payments and receives your card details. We receive transaction confirmations and do not store full card numbers.
- Technical and usage information: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Support and email information: Information you send to our customer support inbox at info@dastreaming.com and information used to send marketing or win-back emails to past customers.
- Lead and customer records: Names and email addresses of leads and past customers held in an internal Google Sheet lead tracker.
- Analytics information: Google Analytics 4 runs on every page of dastreaming.net through gtag.js, using measurement ID G-VKHMV73M62, and sets cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics also runs on every page and is cookieless. Our analytics do not see the checkout or purchase step because there is no tracking on our membership platform's signup page.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Create and manage accounts and subscriptions.
- Provide access to the streaming service, including support for up to five simultaneous connections.
- Process payments, confirm transactions, and manage renewals and expiry dates.
- Respond to support requests and communicate about accounts or service.
- Send win-back offers to past customers, subject to your marketing choices.
- Understand how people use our main website and help improve it.
- Protect our website, accounts, and service.
- Keep records needed for tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics 4 sets cookies on dastreaming.net. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. Our analytics do not track the checkout or purchase step on our membership platform.
We do not currently have a cookie consent banner. Google Analytics cookies are currently set automatically, and we do not yet ask for consent before setting them. We are adding a consent banner. When it goes live, we will update this policy to explain the choices it offers and how cookies are used under the banner’s actual settings.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Google also offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking cookies may affect how some website features work.
Who we share information with
We share information with service providers that help us operate DA Streaming:
- Square processes card payments. Square receives card details; we receive transaction confirmations.
- Google provides Google Analytics on dastreaming.net.
- Cloudflare provides website hosting and content delivery network (CDN) services, and its cookieless web analytics.
- Our email provider supports customer support and email communications.
- Our membership platform operates the separate signup, checkout, and account system at amember.dastreaming.com.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share personal information with advertising networks, and we do not use advertising pixels.
Marketing and opt-out
We may email past customers with win-back offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to stop marketing emails by writing to privacy@dastreaming.com.
We keep do-not-email and suppression records so we can honor opt-out requests. If you opt out, we may still send essential messages about an active account or subscription.
Children
DA Streaming is intended for adults. We do not direct our service or marketing to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@dastreaming.com and ask us to delete it.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, subject to legal and business recordkeeping needs. Our current retention periods are:
- Account and subscription records: While your account is open and for 7 years after it closes.
- Payment records: Square holds card data under its own policies. We keep our transaction records for 7 years.
- Support messages: 24 months.
- Analytics data: Google Analytics retention is set to 14 months.
- Marketing contact details: Until you opt out. After you opt out, we keep only the information needed on our suppression list to honor your request.
Your rights
What you can ask us to do
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy.
- Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete your information.
- Stop sending you marketing emails.
We may keep information where we need it for legal, tax, accounting, security, or recordkeeping purposes.
We do not sell or rent personal information, so there is nothing for you to opt out of on that basis.
To ask us to do any of these things, email privacy@dastreaming.com. To help protect your information, we may verify your request by matching details you provide to your account. We aim to respond within 30 days. We honour these requests for all our customers, wherever you live.
International transfers
DA Enterprises is based in the United States, and our service providers are mainly based there. Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
Security
We use measures intended to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on dastreaming.net and change the effective date at the top. When our cookie consent banner goes live, we will update the cookies section to reflect how it works.
